Our hydroseeding company started as an extension of a family owned business in Powell River, BC. We saw a need for quality hydroseeding services and permanently established Mr. Green-Up on British Columbia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast in 1997.

Mr. Green-Up is locally owned & operated, based out of Gibsons, BC. To complete our hydroseeding jobs we use a FINN T-60 hydroseeder mounted on a trailer. This unit is able to cover 3500 sq. ft. using a full mulch hydroseeding mix and up to an acre using a wet seed mix (no mulch). With up to 500 feet of hose, we can easily reach the most challenging of terrain.

     We are in the process of building a house on an island. Matt brought all his equipment over to the island and hydro seeded the areas we needed. He knew what would work best in certain areas depending on sun exposure etc. We had this done in the late fall to get ahead of the blackberries. I wasn't expecting to see anything until the Spring, but wow, the areas are already green and what a difference it makes. He put grass in some areas, clover in other areas and wild flowers in another area. I am super excited about how the wild flowers are going to look in the Spring! It is amazing how it has already transformed the landscape in such a short period, I guess that is the advantage of Hydro seeding, it works fast. Thanks Matt for all your attention to detail and for being so great to work with!
